Visa Type

  • You can apply for a visa up to 3 months before your date of travel to the United Kingdom.
  • Passport: 
  • Valid for at least six months
  • with a minimum of 2 blank pages available.
  • Please attach all old passports
  • Application Form: One application form has to be filled online and have to schedule an appointment for submission of visa application. Kindly provide us the attached form (filled manually) we will do the online and schedule an appointment. Please note that applicant need to come for submission and biometric on the scheduled date & time at the application centre.
  • Photographs: Two recent colour photographs in white background close up of full face and 35 mm x 45 mm in size.
  • Covering Letter: Covering letter on company letter head (if self-employed) from the applicant addressed to the visa officer, British High Commission, Delhi stating name of the applicant, personal profile, nationality, passport details, purpose of visit, period of stay with dates and also to be noted that all the expenses including medical, boarding & lodging will be borne by the applicant / sponsor.

  • Letter of NOC from school/college in case of student addressed to the visa officer, British High Commission, Delhi stating name of the applicant, personal profile, nationality, passport details, purpose of visit, period of stay with dates
  • If visit relative/ friend: Invitation Letter: Notarized Invitation letter addressed to the visa officer British High Commission Delhi stating name of the applicant, relationship, nationality, passport details, purpose of visit, period of stay with dates and also to be noted that all the expenses including medical, boarding & lodging will be borne by the applicant / sponsor.

  • If company employee then Salary slips for last 06 month
  • If self-employed: Company memorandum copy/ company registration copy Company shop establishment copy or any company registration certificate copy which is showing that owner of this company

  • Personal updated bank statement for last 6 month
  • Also Company Bank statement for last 6 months if self employed
  • Personal ITR copy for last 3 years with computation sheet
  • Company ITR copy for last 3 years if self-employed with computation sheet
  • Other financial papers such as investment in shares or funds, property paper, Fix Deposit Receipts, Copy of the applicant’s international credit card etc.
  • Applicant should consider including evidence of your total monthly income from all sources, for example employment, friends, family, personal savings or property. This will help us assess your circumstances in your own country and will provide us with evidence of how your trip is to be funded. You should consider providing this information even if someone else is paying for your trip.
  • If someone else is paying for your trip then they should consider providing the same information about their finances and employment.
  • If you are providing documents from a joint account then please explain who the other account holders are, and why you have permission to spend money from the account.
  • If your spouse or partner is employed then the Entry Clearance Officer would also like to see evidence of their Employment and financial details.
