Visa Details

US Embassy do not ask for any documents but still it is advisable to carry the below documents

• Original valid passport at least six months from date of travel + old passport if available.
• DS-160 Confirmation page (It is CEAC Barcode printout). 
• Appointment confirmation letter.
• Additional Supporting Documents may be required at the time of interview.
• Covering letter from the applicant side on letter head or plain paper with full details, letter in Favor of (To, The Visa Officer, US Embassy, New Delhi-India)
• If you are visiting a relative, carry photocopies of the relative’s proof of status e.g. Sponsor letter, Green Card, naturalization certificate, passport copy with valid visa and proof of employment, bank statement last 6 months etc.
• It is also helpful to carry evidence of how the trip will be financed along with letters of deputation, invitation or sponsorship.
• NOC letter from employer on letter head full mention period of leave in letter and no objection
• Original personal bank statement last 6 months with name, address and bank contact details.
• Personal Income Tax paper last 3 years.
• Any other financial documents as property paper, LIC, shares, etc.
• Applicant's Occupational viability
• If Company Employee: -
• Copy of Appointment letter.
• Salary slips last three months or certificate.
• Leave certificate or NOC from the Employer
• If retired than need retirement proof.
